New poll: Biden’s polling numbers and support among women

A new Morning Consult poll suggests that likely 2020 contender Joe Biden’s support among female voters remains despite allegations of unwanted kissing and touching, reported The New York Post.

The numbers: Support for Biden among Democratic women has dropped by only 0.8% and is currently at 33.1%. The poll, which questioned 13,644 Democratic primary voters and caucus-goers, found that Biden in total fell from 33.4% to 32.1%, compared to last week’s poll. His favorability rating has taken a dive over the last month from 46% to 35% of respondents holding a very favorable opinion of Biden. 40% of the respondents hold a somewhat favorable opinion.

Biden continues to top 2020 polls, closely followed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) at 23.4 %, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) with  8.6 %, Beto O’Rourke at 7.8%, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) with 6.9%.
